EXTENDED CARE

We offer before school care beginning from 7:00 am for a rate of $150.00 per month or $15.00 per hour. There are two options for after school care, care until 2:30 p.m. for $100.00 per month or $15.00 per hour. Care until 2:30 pm is supervised, non-structured, outside (weather permitting) playtime. Any child not picked up by 2:35 p.m. will be sent to the next activity and will incur the daily charge of this program. For those who need care beyond 2:30 p.m., supervised and structured activity will be provided for $15 per hour or $200 per month.

Before School Care & After School Care, monthly flat rate: $300.00  

Daily activities will be as follows:

Before School Care

7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Independent work (working with materials, library center or writing center)

After School Care

Option 1 -$100.00 per month or $15.00 per hour

Dismissal Time - 2:30 p.m. (Supervised Playground Time)

Option 2 - $200.00 per month or $15.00 per hour

1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Nap Time (Nappers)

1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Supervised Playground Time (Non-Nappers)

3:00 p.m. - 3:10 p.m. Handwashing Time

3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Meal Time (Nappers join Non-Nappers)

3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Homework Help (Non-Nappers) & Independent Work (Nappers)

4:00 p.m. - 4:50 p.m. Supervised Playground Time

4:50 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Dismissal Time

A late pick up fee of $2.00 per minute will be charged for any child picked up after 5:05 p.m. The Academy reserves the right to discontinue the service to children who are picked up late more than three times. Parents will be notified in writing that the service has been discontinued. A minimum of 12 children is required to continue this service; if this minimum is not met, the Academy reserves the right to cancel this program.

There is no extended care on the following days: The first day of school, Halloween, Children’s Day/Book Fair (April), Staff Holiday Lunch (December), Teacher Appreciation lunch (2nd friday in May) the last day of the school year, and the days before Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks.
