AFTERSCHOOL SPANISH PROGRAM: SPANISH FOR SPANISH SPEAKERS

As a part of the Hispanic community, Bonita Learning Academy has addressed the need for Spanish-speaking children to learn about their cultural background and roots, as well as to continue their education in the Spanish language. It is imperative that, as children grow, so too does their ability to communicate at their grade level, which is the main objective of our Spanish for Spanish Speakers program. Our focus is on the development of vocabulary, listening skills, reading, writing, and oral expression.  Through a curriculum that includes interactive activities, homework assignments, presentations, and games, students will be able to expand and enrich their language skills, while building the confidence to express themselves -- both verbally, and in writing. 

Because this full-immersion course is both academic and demanding, students receive motivational rewards and recognition for their efforts. We also expect children at this level to support their lessons at home through homework assignments and further exposure to Spanish literature and media.
